Swift Prepared Foods Introduces Two Recognition Programs
Swift Prepared Foods introduced two recognition programs to reward team members who embody our values and show exemplary individual achievements: the Plant Manager’s Award and the President’s Award.
Awardees must be a full-time team member in good standing, possess a positive attitude and serve as a role model. In addition, nominees must achieve high productivity, exhibit a commitment to quality in carrying out job responsibilities, be an asset to the staff of his or her department, display a willingness to take initiative and accept and carry out additional responsibilities beyond regular job assignments.
The team members recognized with the Plant Manager’s Award receive a certificate of recognition and a $200 gift card. The President’s Award nominee receives a plaque and a certificate of recognition and $500 gift card.

BENJAMIN NUSS: MAINTENANCE MANAGER / COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA
Nuss’s values and performance allowed him to remain in lock step with Operations to align KPIs to Maintenance needs. He utilized preventive maintenance systems to drive sustained performance and inventory controls, and his team enabled Council Bluffs 1 to be the lowest cost bacon producer in period 11.
