Reducing GHG Emissions

The Brooks beef production facility enhanced its wastewater treatment system, to improve the recovery of grease byproduct. The improvement resulted in an approximate 25 percent increase in recovered grease for beneficial reuse and an annual reduction of more than 25,000 tons of CO₂e from the downstream wastewater treatment process.
