In September 2019, the first JBS Australia Employee Engagement Survey opened for completion. All team members across the business, excluding Primo Foods and Premier Beehive, completed the survey.
The Engagement Survey is confidential and anonymous, with an external third party appointed to analyse the responses and deliver high-level reports. Managers will be responsible for creating and implementing Action Plans to address areas of opportunity.
Prior to opening the survey, Group General Manager People and Culture, Donna Griffin, looked forward to discovering what opportunities lie ahead for JBS. “It’s important that our team members are heard on areas that are relevant to them and crucial for our business growth,” she said. “Once the survey is complete, Managers and Supervisors across the business will work to build action plans to address key areas of opportunity and improvement. The survey will also highlight areas where we are excelling. We are relying on our team members to be honest and transparent with their responses so that we can implement Action Plans to help us improve as an employer.”
