Growing in Prepared Foods
Last year, the Pilgrim’s Mexico Prepared Foods business enjoyed outstanding growth of 35 percent in volume and 44 percent in revenue. This was driven by a strategic focus on innovation launching more than 25 new products to retail partners through the Del Día brand and Pilgrim’s brands, which grew 10 percent and 50 percent, respectively. In the Quick Service Restaurants segment, Pilgrim’s Mexico nearly doubled its volume in 2018, gaining more than 60 percent of the market share.
