Focused on Water Recycling

Water reuse is an active part of our water reduction initiatives and currently in place at various levels of use across most of our operations. For example, the Dinmore production facility recycles 30 to 35 percent of the water used for cattle receiving and cleaning. The Longford and Scone production facilities recycle 5 to 10 percent of the water used for cattle receiving and cleaning, and the Bordertown production facility uses 100 percent of recycled water in its rendering operations.
